1932 - Barney Lincoln enters the recycling business with one truck and begins servicing small accounts in the Erie area.1967 - Howard Lincoln (son of Barney Lincoln) returns to Erie and partners with Barney to form Lincoln Metal Processing Company.1969 - Lincoln Metal becomes incorporated. Yard is located at 1523 Cascade.1971 - To accommodate ferrous materials and grow the business the Erie yard is relocated to its present location at 1602 Selinger Ave.1974 - Howard becomes a key partner in the creation of Lincoln Foundry.1980 - Acquisition of Meadville Metal Company in Meadville, PA.1998 - Extensive renovations to add warehousing space at Meadville Metal.2003 - Jeremy Lincoln (son of Howard Lincoln) joins the business and expands the steel yard at Lincoln Metal.2005 - Extensive remodel is performed to Lincoln Metal non-ferrous receiving area and offices.2006 - Andrew Lincoln (son of Howard Lincoln) joins the business. Both yards become equipped with radiation detectors and railroad siding is added to Meadville Metal.
